Amy is a long-time environmental activist. She worked for Greenpeace in the 1980s as a college student, and more recently organized her neighbors to protect a stand of old growth forest from a clear cut. Amy belives the lakes, green space, trails and parks make WB a great place to live.

For nearly 30 years, Amy worked at a family business, for many serving as the office manager. She has skills in management, technology, accounts payable, and HR. Amy also has worked as a communications specialist, building websites and creating marketing materials, as well as a background in both creative writing and reportage.

Amy moved to WB in 1997, and she and her husband raised three children, now adults, in WB and all graduated from WBHS. They have two dogs. Amy likes to walk the trails, read library books and work on her novel.
